Maya productions aims to:
Develop and produce scripted
new drama reflecting cultural diversity.
Nurture new writing for the future through educational projects.
Create opportunities for practitioners from diverse cultural backgrounds.
New Projects for 2008 and beyond are currently in development.
They include a new commission based on a Black History story to tour Village Halls in 2009 and a season of Hackney Plays on the themes of gangs, guns and knives. We are currently fundraising for these projects, if you are interested in sponsorship or making a donation, please get in touch.
